Your Feet...

Always wear a comfortable shoe. Take care to change your stockings daily. Trim your nails level with the skin, with a little rounding if the nail is of the kind that grows into the skin, and use talcum powder to keep off the heat. Do not neglect to consult a specialist if any ailment appears.

A warm bath is the greatest help in resting the feet. Stretch your feet out in the tub and move the toes continuously for five minutes; work your leg by raising the foot upward, then downward, then upward again as far as you can, moving the ankle in a spiral motion from the inside outward. Massage the leg a little from bottom to top, and after finishing the warm bath, wash your feet at once with cold water. If the feet swell in the summer days, use warm compresses and follow them with cold ones for a short time; this helps rest the feet.
