A Woman's Word

كلمة نسائية

An American lady offered this opinion to the magazine "Home Journal":

Dear Editors:

I have an idea for how to pay off the international loan—a campaign for us women to undertake! Let us fine every woman five piasters, through the women's associations, every time she talks about:

1 — Her aches and pains.

2 — The operations she has undergone and her pains in childbirth.

3 — The cleverness of her children.

The Woman's Voice: This is the opinion of an American lady. What do our gracious lady readers think of a campaign of this kind, undertaken by the Arab woman? And what conditions would they propose??!
