My sister: Your magazine, "The Woman's Voice," today opens a new era in its long life, God willing. This is the first issue to appear since "Dar al-Kitab," which is entrusted with the magazine's affairs, editorial and administrative, moved to its new offices. And it is the first issue printed on its own presses — a singular effort indeed, and one of the blessed steps that, it is hoped, will raise The Woman's Voice to the level worthy of it.

It is a source of pleasure to us, at the outset of this era of ours, to renew the bonds of affection between us and our readers, in pursuit of a broader understanding for the common good, for the sake of the mission to which we have dedicated our pens. And while we welcome every visitor (lady or gentleman), we ask her to keep (by telephone) to an appointment agreed upon in advance. And our word to all our readers and friends:

Welcome!
