Waiting...

انتظار...

I sat alone on the parallel line of stones
at whose end lies the deception of a meeting...
A blue sea before me, paralyzed by the heat of the sun,
its waves asleep, dreaming of hopes upon hopes...
A ship stood contemplating the shore, not daring
to shake its hand. It might never be the same after touching it...
My shadow dances with a few handfuls of water that would have
nothing less than to greet me with tenderness...
